Skin Free Skincare carries products that were designed and formulated by owner and Pharmacist, Julie Hilton. Their products are all natural with no added coloring, chemicals or steroids. They also don't participate in animal testing. That is a huge bonus in my book! I love animals and I love skin care products. It is always great to be able to enjoy my products without worrying about the animals that were tortured to test or make them.
I received the Skin Renewal System to try. It contains the Sweet & Smooth Sugar Scrub and the Whipped Tamanu Body Butter. The Sweet & Smooth Sugar Scrub is great for your elbows, knees, ankles and any other dry problem areas. I personally have VERY dry elbows. I used the sugar scrub on them and they immediately felt soft and smooth like a babies bottom (excuse the cliche please). The sugar scrub contains oils that leave your skin feeling very smooth and silky. I did try to use it on my face as well, but since I have oily skin it doesn't work for my face. I have since stuck to elbows and knees and ankles. I only have to use it about once a week to keep my "lizard elbows" away.
The Whipped Tamanu Butter was my favorite! I am very picky about my lotion and body butter. I don't like to have a "heavy" feeling moisturizer. Even if it is light, I often have to wash my hands immediately afterward because the feeling bothers me. With the Tamanu butter I decided to apply it to my feet. Then my legs. Then my stomach. I literally applied the whipped Tamanu butter everywhere. Then, guess what? I didn't wash my hands! I actually loved the way that it felt. I have been using it like crazy and I even applied it to my husband's face because it was peeling. It cleared up his sore, flaky skin in two days. The Whipped Tamanu Butter also smells wonderful. It has no added fragrance, so the smell is natural from the ingredients. It is hard to describe, but it has almost an Almond or Walnut smell. It's wonderful. This is a must buy!
