My OMG Moment!

Do you ever stop and think "Ohh My God...I can not believe I did that!"? I do quite often. My Mother always said that I was born with book smarts, but no street smarts. I often agree with her. So, I had one of these moments this morning. My hair has been unmanageable for the last few weeks! For some reason it is super tangled and I have had ridiculous frizz. I thought it was maybe because I desperately needed a haircut. Then, this morning in the shower I go to reach for my conditioner after shampooing. As I grab the bottle, I notice the word on the front: SHAMPOO. Ohh Crap! I have been shampooing my hair twice a day instead of shampooing and conditioning. Even worse, I have been doing this for about 3 weeks! My hair is long and straight and it has to be conditioned daily. Otherwise, I normally have to fight to brush it and it gets tangled and frizzy.

The reason why I thought that I was using conditioner is because I have several non-matching bottles of shampoo and conditioner in my bathroom (due to sales, reviews, etc). The bottle that I was using was originally from a matching set. I ALWAYS run out of shampoo before conditioner. I had ran out of one of them about 2 months ago. I stopped using it to review some products and just went back to it a few weeks ago. So, when I started using it I assumed that the bottle in the bathroom was conditioner. I never bothered to actually look at the label (idiot!). Needless to say, my hair was MUCH better today after using real conditioner!

I would love to hear some of your OMG moments to make me feel better! : )

Ha ha, that's too funny. The consistency is different, so I can usually tell if it's shampoo or conditioner, but I have poured the wrong one into my hand and said "oh crap now what."

Can't live without the conditioner! Need to tame the frizz too.
