I love water. Where I live in Florida it is hot, sticky and easy to become dehydrated. Also, our tap water has to be filtered (no drinking from the sink or water fountains), so we use a lot of water bottles. I take 1-2 water bottles with me every night to work and we keep 6-8 gallons of filtered tap water at home. So, I am always on the look out for better water bottles. I have been reusing hard plastic bottles that I had bought at the store awhile ago. So, when I found Vapur I was super excited.
Our Idea is Simple. Our Task is Great.
At Vapur, we believe that clean tap water is the best drinking water for you, your community and the planet (learn why). So we have set out to make tap water infinitely portable, universally available and ethically sustainable. We hope you find Vapur so darn convenient that you'll swear off bottled water forever!
Portability Through Design.
Refillable water bottles are a great way to help fight the global water and environmental crisis. But let's face it, carrying bulky water bottles around everyday can be a pain, especially when empty. So we designed the Vapur flexible bottle to "fold-and-go"— which means it can be rolled, folded or flattened when empty—making it the most portable and convenient water bottle on the planet. We hope this simple idea will help put an end to the use of bottled water.
Drink Responsibly. Do good.
Water is the source of all life. It is not a commodity to be bought and sold for profit. Vapur is committed to raising awareness of the global water crisis and to empowering people to make a difference through their own purposeful drinking choices. We have joined the 1% For The Planet program through which we give a portion of all Vapur sales to water-related environmental causes. And we are in the process of working with local communities to make clean tap water more readily available than ever.
I love everything about these water bottles. I received the pink Vapur bottle. The design is extremely practical. The bottles are light weight and flexible. This makes it easy for the Vapur bottles to fit into any packed fridge or freezer. They are also easier to carry after they are empty. The bottle flattens when empty. It can be rolled or folded. The carabiner makes it easy to carry this water bottle empty or full. I have actually been clipping the carabiner onto my purse when I have my hands full.I do wish that there was a second hold punched into the Vapur bottle to put the carabiner through and hold to bottle rolled when empty. Mine has been unrolling.
I also love that Vapur bottles have a place to write your name. I have had so many people take my water bottle thinking it was theirs at work. This is not likely to happen now since I am the only one with a cool Vapur bottle, but it will prevent them from stealing it! I also like to freeze my water bottles. The Vapur bottle can act as a ice pack! That would be great for camping or fishing. You wouldn't have to worry about extra weight and ice. Just toss in a few Vapur bottles.
I have often worried about using plastic water bottles (and especially freezing them) since the recent talk of them causing health problems. Vapur is BPA free! So, you don't have to worry about anything. These nifty water bottles look and feel like they don't hold much, but they actually hold 16 oz of water! I think I need 2 Vapur bottles to last me through the night at work (I normally drink a little coffee or soda in between).
Vapur bottles are $8.95 each or you can buy a four pack for $29.95 (I highly recommend the four pack!)
One lucky winner will receive a Vapur bottle
