Dove Conditioner Review and Giveaway Details

Dove now makes Shampoo and Conditioner! I was thrilled when I first heard about this since I love all of their other products. I actually had purchased a bottle of Dove shampoo the first time that I saw it for sale. The shampoo.was wonderful. Dove recently gave me a chance to try the conditioner as well. I was sent two different types of Dove Conditioner: Intensive Repair and Daily Moisture.

Both of the Dove Conditioners are dual-action formulas that contain:

*Treatment with FIBER ACTIVES: penetrates deep inside to help rebind damaged proteins without weighing hair down.
*Conditioner with patented MICRO MOISTURE SERUM: repairs, intensely nourishes and seals lifted cuticles to help protect against future damge.
So these conditioners not only repair your damaged hair, but they prevent future damage. How awesome is that? So, what is the difference between these two conditioners? The Intensive Repair conditioner is meant to repair split ends and breakage. The Daily Moisture restores softness and smoothness.

I actually have really soft, smooth hair with little damage. My hair dresser is always amazed with how soft my hair is and has asked me multiple times what products I use. The truth? Shampoo and Conditioner. I don't use gels and hairsprays and other products that add weight and damage. I also use conditioner on a daily basis. It leaves my hair soft and manageable. Even though I do not need the restorative properties of the Dove Conditioner, I still need a great conditioner to keep my hair smooth. Dove accomplished this!

The conditioners are both very similar in feel, look and smell. I couldn't tell the difference if not for the labels. The conditioner is white and thick (just the way I like my conditioner!). My favorite part though, is the smell. It is hard to explain how it smells (kind of like candy), but it smells wonderful. The conditioner is also a weightless formula which I love. There is nothing worse than a bad conditioner weighing you down.

How does my hair feel after using Dove Conditioner? Light and soft, just the way it should feel! I only have one thing that I don't love about the conditioner (and it isn't a deal breaker): the container. The conditioner comes in more of a tube than a bottle. I wish that Dove sold it in a 14 oz bottle instead of a 8oz tube. However, I do use a little less conditioner with the Dove Conditioner than I did with my previous brand. So, I will definitely be buying more Dove Conditioner!
