Fresh Face of Summer- Rohto Eye Drops Review and Giveaway

It is paramount that you have fresh, clear eyes in order to get that "Fresh Face of Summer" look. That is why Celebrities, Makeup Artists and Athletes all use Rohto. I was sent all four different types of Rohto eye drops to try out: Hydra, Cool, Arctic and Ice.

The first thing that I noticed about these eye drops was the cool packaging. They come in regular boxes. The pleasant surprise doesn't come until after you open the box. The bottles that the eye drops are in are very unique and practical. They fit much better in a purse pocket (or even regular pocket) than your normal round bottles. They are also contained in plastic inside of the box. I found that comforting because you know your eye drops have not been tampered with.

Before I get into the individual eye drops, I want to tell you about a few things that applied to all four of them. First of all, I wear contacts about 16 hours a day. You can not use these eye drops with contacts in. If I could put in one request to Rohto, it would be to make some contact friendly eye drops. So, all of these eye drops I have been using at night after I take my contacts out. Another thing I wanted to tell you is that these eye drops burn a little when you first put them in. It is definitely worth it though! My eyes are super sensitive and they seemed to burn me more than my Husband (he said they more tingled), so that may not be the case for everyone. On to the details...

The Hydra drops are designed to relieve discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or exposure to wind or sun and to lubricate to prevent further irritation or to relieve dryness of the eye. These were my favorite of the four eye drops because my eyes are always dry and irritated. They definitely refreshed my eyes and made them feel moist and comfortable.

The Cool Rohto drops relieve redness of the eye due to minor irritations and temporarily relieve burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye. I also liked the Cool drops a lot. By the time my contacts come out, my eyes are not just dry; they are red! This tackled both of my problems. I was amazed at the whiteness of my eye afterwards. These drops kick butt!

The Arctic drops temporarily relieve burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye, relieve redness of the eye due to minor eye irritations and soothe eye strain. Even if you don't wear contacts, I am sure you can imagine the eye strain that occurs from trying to see when you have poor eyes and/ or having a piece of plastic (contacts) in your eye all day. I have both of these. The Arctic drops also worked wonderful and helped my eyes feel less strained and clearer.

Last but not less, the Ice drops. The ice drops temporarily relieve redness of the eye and discomfort due to minor eye irritations and exposure to wind or sun, and temporarily relieve burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye. These were actually the first drops that I tried and the ones that really burned my eyes. However, they worked REALLY well. I couldn't believe how white my eyes were after using them. They even seemed to get rid of the veins that are always visible in my eyes. They also made my eyes feel fresh after the burning stopped (a few seconds to a minute).

The eye drops all work wonderful. I was particularly impressed with the red eye removal. These would be really great to use on your wedding day or before professional pictures are taken. I definitely understand why Celebrities and Makeup Artists use them.
