A Note to My Wonderful Readers : )

You may have noticed that I have not been posting as much recently. It is only temporary! I am currently working 60 plus hours a week and planning my vacation (in addition to the usual wife duties). On top of everything else, my Grandfather passed away recently and my Mother just found out that her skin cancer is back. Needless to say, I am exhausted and stressed beyond belief.

I am so tired that I have been doing some painful (but humorous) things to myself in the kitchen. Today I burned my hand pretty bad. I used my Rachael Ray skilled that I reviewed for CSN in the oven for the first time. Well, I took it out of the oven and set it on the stove using a pot holder. Two minutes later, I gripped the metal end with my right hand. Ouch! Hubby had to come to the rescue and finish dinner while I ran my hand under cold water. Then, I came back into the kitchen to help him and burned my arm by swiping a hot pan that he had stuck into the sink. About a month ago, I sliced into my thumb while chopping Kielbasa. Yes, Kielbasa...into big chunks! Aye. I have never cut myself with a knife or burned myself badly and I have been cooking for about 10 years! Luckily my tired ditziness has not overlapped into work (I could kill someone because I work in a Pharmacy) or driving.

On to the good news....California in 16 days!! I will actually have a few days beforehand off to pack and get ready and ...yes....BLOG! After California I will only be working overtime occasionally. So, I will be back to my full amount of blogging and posts soon. Thanks for being patient.

I also wanted to let you know I am changing my comment form to a pop up. I know it is annoying, but Blogger is leaving me no choice. They refuse to acknowledge my posts in their forum about my comment problems (I cannot see comments above 200 when comments are embedded below the posts). So, instead of changing it back and forth to pick winners, I am now going to leave it as a pop up. Sorry! I still don't require captchas though. : )

I think everyone can forgive you for slowing down on your posting. You certainly do have a lot on your plate. I hope everything goes well with your mother.

Btw, I personally like the pop up comment form.
