Chicken Soup for the Soul – A Book of Miracles Review

I am very pleased to announce that I will be working with Chicken Soup for The Soul! By now, most of you have heard of and probably read Chicken Soup for The Soul. Did you know that they have many different versions? They are also constantly releasing new Chicken Soup for the Soul’s.

The first book that I was sent is Chicken Soup for the Soul – A Book of Miracles. This book contains 101 true stories of healing, faith, divine intervention and answered prayers. Here are the chapters:

~Signs from Above~
~The Healing Power of Prayer~
~Love From Beyond~
~His Messenger~
~His Saving Grace~
~Answered Prayer~
~Angels Among Us~
~Everyday Miracles~
~Divine Appointment~

My favorite part of Chicken Soup for The Soul has always been the cute little comics. A Book of Miracles has a few comics, but not as many as some of the other Chicken Soup for the Soul’s that I have read. I also have always enjoyed the quotes at the beginning of each story. This book does contain the quotes, but most of them are bible quotes for this version. I think this seems fitting since most of the stories are about God, Angels and Faith.

The true heart of Chicken Soup for The Soul has always been the stories. For the most part, I really enjoyed the stories in this version (a few seemed a little far fetched). My favorite section was Love From Beyond. When you lose a loved one it is always great to get a sign from them or experience something that reminds you of them. I also really enjoyed the Angels Among Us and Everyday Miracles.

While I think this book would be enjoyable to anyone that loves to read stories, I think that it will really be enjoyed by people that have strong faith or people that have recently lost a loved one. I believe in God and Angels and Miracles and even Ghosts. I did enjoy most of this book, but I know that my Father will enjoy it twice as much as myself. I will be passing it on to him. : )
