I have already proclaimed my love for Gorton’s Seafood. Now, I have a new way to enjoy their products: Fish Tacos. Although I live in Florida, I have never had a fish taco. This may surprise most of you, but there is a lot of bad fish out there. We generally only get seafood at places we know and trust. So, the fish tacos we have seen on menus often are passed up. It never occurred to me to take a product I love like Gorton’s and make fish tacos.
Gorton’s and Ortega are hosting a We Love Fish Tacos contest where you can win some amazing prizes:

I am pleased to announce that I have now had fish tacos and I loved them! Even more impressive, my not very adventurous Husband loved them. I made two different types of fish tacos. The first ones were regular "original" tacos with fish sticks instead of the hamburger that I normally use. They had Gorton’s fish sticks, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, Ortega Taco Sauce and shredded cheese all wrapped in Ortega’s hard taco shells. The second tacos that I made were my own creation for the contest. They were Hawaiian fist tacos. They consisted of sauteed pineapple with barbeque and hoison sauce over Gorton’s fish sticks on an Ortega hard taco. I love pineapple and these were surprisingly yummy.
