Taylor Nursing Scrubs Review

Taylor Nursing Scrubs is an online retailer that sells Nurse Scrubs for great prices. I was amazing at the large selection of scrubs that they carry. They have Scrub Tops, Scrub Jackets, Scrub Pants and Gripper Tops in various designs and styles. I was able to review a Nursing Scrub Top. I was able to choose between Reversible V-Neck Scrubs Tops, Printed Scrub Tops, Solid Color Scrub Tops, V-Neck Mock Wraps and Gripper Scrub Tops. I was intrigued by the Reversible v-Neck, but I decided to go with the V-Neck Mock Wrap.

I have seen V-Neck Mock Wrap Scrub Tops before, but I do not own any. I love the fake "wrap" look because it adds a lot of style to scrubs that can be plain otherwise. I decided to order mine in Hunter Green since it is one of the few colors I do not have. Here is what my scrub top looks like:

Sorry for the crappy picture. I was having one of "those" days when I was photographing the scrub top and I couldn't seem to get a shot I liked that involved myself. Also note that the scrub top looks more turquoise in this picture than it is in real life. It is Hunter Green. Here are the features of the V-Neck Mock Wrap:

Fabric: 4-1/4 oz poplin
Blend: 65% polyester/35% combed cotton
Finish: Pre-cure durable press
Collar: V-Neck pullover
Pockets: 2 lower front packet.
Other Details: Mock wrap styling, side vents, set in sleeves and ties at waist.

I could tell the second that I saw the top that I would love it! The design and the color are both unique compared to what people typically wear at my work (I work for a Long Term Care Pharmacy that fills prescriptions for Nursing Homes and Assistant Living Facilities). The V-Neck Mock Wrap is well made and fits perfect. I have worn and washed this top twice and there has been no shrinking or fraying. If you aren't sure what size scrubs you wear, Taylor Nursing Scrubs has a sizing chart on their website that helps choose the right fit.

This style is also versatile. I have seen people cut the ties off, wear them behind their back and wear them tied in the front as advertised. I actually prefer to wear the V-Neck Mock Wrap with the tie wrapped around my back and tied back there. It makes me feel a little more free to move and I think it looks better on me. However you decide to wear it, the V-Neck Mock Wrap is super comfortable.

I would also like to point out that scrub tops are not just for nurses. Although Taylor Nursing Scrubs has "Nursing" in their name, you could wear their scrubs for multiple occupations or even for just lounging out around the house. I know people that have purchased scrubs for jobs and then changed fields and they still wear them around the house. They are light, super comfortable and they help to hide some body flaws. They are great for house work, sick days or even "fat" days. So, visit Taylor Nursing Scrubs today and get comfy!
