MI-DEL Cookies Review and Giveaway (3 Winners!)

MI-DEL Cookies are designed for people that want are healthful and natural cookies that also taste delicious. They have cookies in a wide range of all natural/organic flavors including: oatmeal chocolate chip, ginger snaps, chocolate snaps, snickerdoodle, lemon snaps and more. They also have a gluten free line with flavors such as cinnamon snaps, chocolate sandwich cookies, chocolate chip, S'mores, pecan flavored cookies and more. While I do not have any allergies that I am aware of (must people with gluten allergies do not realize they are allergic), I like to eat healthy. I have seen MI-DEL cookies in the store in the past and I have always been curious about them. So, I was really excited to team up with the MI-DEL Cookie team on a review and giveaway.

I tried two different MI-DEL flavors (I had the opportunity to try three, but could only find the two flavors in the stores in my area): Gluten Free Arrowroot Cookies and Gluten Free Ginger Snaps.

The Arrowroot cookies are on the left and the Ginger Snaps are on the right

The Arrowroot cookies were my favorite. They are cut into animal shapes, so they would be easy to get children to eat. They taste like sugar cookies with a twist (the arrowroot flavor). The only problem with these cookies is that they are super addicting! They have only 4g of fat, 130 calories, 23g of carbs and 9g of sugar for 10 cookies. I definitely didn't miss the gluten in them. These cookies also have some Vitamin A, Calcium and Iron.

The Ginger Snap cookies were gingery with a bit of a sugar taste and a nice snap. They are a little too strong on the ginger for my taste, but I am not a fan of ginger to begin with. My Husband really liked these and thought that the amount of ginger was perfect. The Ginger Snaps have 6gm of fat, 140 calories, 21g of carbs and 12g of sugar for 5 cookies. They also have some calcium and iron too.

I really enjoyed the MI-DEL Cookies and I am hoping that my stores start carrying other varieties. They are good for you without tasting awful, what more could you ask for? There are also specially marked packages available now where you can get a coupon for free milk (up to $2) when you buy two packages of MI-DEL cookies.
