MyGlam stepped it up a few notches this month with both their bag and their shipping. I actually received my MyGlam on the same day as my Birchbox (instead of the typical week later). So, I am able to get the Battle of the Sample Boxes posted early this month. It was a good month, so I am really excited to share what I received.
*$10 a month
*It was started by Michelle Phan (who is a Youtube Beauty Guru)
*Every month you receive a make-up bag with deluxe samples and full sized products
My June "bag":
*Gold shimmery makeup bag (unknown price...but it is cheap and smells like fish)
*NYX Round Lipstick in Saturn ($4)
*Philosophy take a deep breath oil-free energizing oxygen gel cream moisturizer (0.4oz sample= $8.50; $34 for full size 2oz)
frizz Nourishing Styling Cream ($15 for 2oz size)
*Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen in Black (#30)($19)
Total Value: $46.50 before makeup bag
Initial thoughts: Once again, the bag smells like dead fish. I think they get these makeup bags from China and they are gross. I am keeping them for the moment because I heard you can get rid of the smell, but this one will probably be tossed since it doesn't have a zipper (it has a single button in the middle). Anyways, I love all four of the products I received! I have always wanted to try NYX and the lipstick is in my perfect color. I love Philosophy and haven't tried this moisturizer yet since it is new. The Living proof. is a-ma-zing. I have some in my hair now and it smells heavenly. It also helps with frizz. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. The Marbella eyeliner seems really nice. The word "permanent" scares me a little and it does say not to use with lenses. I ALWAYS wear contacts. I am going to try it anyhow. Here are a few more up close pics for you:

*tili Bags Small Collection (1= about $0.71, $8.40 for 12)
*Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in Old Gold ($15)
*Likewise Facial Moisturizer + Sun Protectant SPF 50 Normal To Oily (5ml= about $4.40; $44 for 50ml)
*Comodynes Self-Tanning Intensive - 2 packets (2= about $3.75; $14.99 for 8)
*theBalm® cosmetics Stainiac in Beauty Queen (0.04oz = about $2.27; $17 for 0.3oz)
Total Value: $27.43
Initial Thoughts: I am pretty happy with this Birchbox. The ziplock bag and the cologne kind of a joke. Hubby tried the cologne and seemed to like it. He also spilled the ENTIRE sample on the carpet 5 seconds later. I guess it is a good thing he wasn't too excited about it. I really love the Eyeko Fat Eye Stick. It is right up my alley and I have been wearing Urban Decay's Half Baked (which is a goldish color too) like crazy, so I love the color. The Likewise is nice because of the high SPF. I am taking it with me on vacation in a few weeks. Same with the self-tanning packets. I am uber pale and hope they don't turn me orange. Now theBalm Stainiac is one of my favorites out of everything in both boxes! I LOVE this stuff and actually used my Birchbox points to get it for free last night. It goes on so light and you can build it up. Since it actually stains your lips, it lasts longer too. The Stainiac and Eyeko made this box for me. I was thrilled until I saw the full sized stila bronzer some people got (including my Mom!). So jelly of those lucky subscribers! Here are a few more pics:

July's Birchbox is going to be a Glamour Birchbox, so sign up now if you want in on the goodies! Glamour said it would have products like stila (bronzer next month...please!!), Oscar De La Renta and Boscia. Nice!!
This month's winner: I loved them both. MyGlam was by far the winner value wise, but I really liked the Birchbox Eyeko and Stainiac. I am more likely to buy the Birchbox products (and already
bought the Stainiac), so Birchbox wins!
