Two Websites That Are A Cheap Girl's Best Friend

Chances are that you shop online occasionally. I have two websites that may save you some money. The first one you may not know about, and the second one you definitely know about, but may not utilize enough.

Website #1: RetailMeNot

RetailMeNot is my go-to site EVERY TIME I buy anything online. They are not a retailer; they are a data base of discount codes. You want to bookmark them now and make sure you remember to use them. All you need to do is go to the website and search for the company that you are shopping at. For instance, when I order pizza at Papa John's, I search for Papa John's and select their page (yes, they have restaurants too! Anything that you order online is here). The website lists not only all the coupon codes, but the success rate and the average discount per store. It looks like this:

Just insert the coupon code in the appropriate spot on the site you are buying from and you just saved yourself some money! RetailMeNot has saved me hundreds of dollars. Always check them before buying online!

Website #2: Amazon

You probably know by now that I am a beauty addict...and not always the cheap stuff (I LOVE Urban Decay and Buxom and Juice Beauty and stila..ohh my). Well, I have been hearing a lot about this product:

Macadamia Oil. It supposedly works wonders for all hair types and helps with frizz, adds shine and treats hair. Do you know that a 1oz bottle costs $13.50 from the company that makes this stuff? I also found it in CVS the other day for the same price. There is no way I am paying that much. So, I went to one of my all time favorite websites: Amazon. It really is amazing how much money you can save on Amazon. They have the Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment, 1 Ounce for only $6.75 and with free shipping if you have Prime! That is half the price for the same product and it more than likely ships faster. Plus, you can use your Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks to buy it!

I have Amazon Prime because I signed up for the free 6 month Student Amazon Prime account and then paid the $39 for a year to continue it. It is definitely worth it for me because I am always buying from them. I also get free online streaming on some shows/movies and kindle rentals.

Anyways, Here are a few of the other steals that I have personally purchased from Amazon recently:
*Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick, 0.5 Ounce (Pack of 3) for $7.91 if you subscribe and save (you can subscribe to a 6 month plan and cancel it after I receive my product...instant 5% savings). These Cocoa Butter sticks are amazing and are helping my scar on my neck to heal quite nicely. They are also great for dry hands and feet.
*Playtex Sport Body Wipes Single Packs, 20-count (Pack of 5) for $15.19 with subscribe and save. I am obsessed with these wipes. I live in hot Florida and I sweat a lot and these are the only wipes that truly make me feel clean after getting all sweaty. They smell amazing too. I feel like I have just stepped out of the shower after swiping one of these wipes all over my arms, neck, chest and legs. I originally bought them at Walmart and they no longer carry them. I literaly ran into 5 stores last week trying to find them, no one had them. I came home and ordered this 5 pack from Amazon. They saved me again.
*Grove Square Cider Cups, Spiced Apple, Single Serve Cup for Keurig K-Cup Brewers, 1.94 Oz, 24-Count $9.54 with subscribe and save for the Carmel Apple (sugar free). Cheap for K-Cups and these are delicious.

They really do have everything on Amazon! If Amazon is selling it, it is normally a great price too. If it is more expensive than normal; Amazon is not the seller. Keep searching and see if Amazon has their own listing for the product. You will be happy that you did.

LOVE Amazon! I recently purchased an exercise armband for my phone from there. The armband was a dollar, so shipping was more expensive, but altogether, it was only five bucks--and at Walmart and the like, I was seeing them for $10 and up! And works great, fits my phone like a glove.
