Taco Tuesday with Wholly Guacamole & Cabot Cheese + Giveaway!

Taco Tuesday. There is something exciting about those words. Maybe it is the fact that they are often followed by delicious (and normally cheap) tacos. I was able to have an awesome Taco Tuesday thanks to Wholly Guacamole and Cabot Cheese. They sent me a huge package of goodies:

-4 boxes Wholly Guacamole- various flavors
- 2 containers Wholly Salsa- various flavors
- 4 bars of Cabot Cheese- various flavors
-Wholly Guacamole T-shirt
-Cabot cutting board and cheese cutter
-Cabot Reusable Grocery Bag
-Wholly Guacamole chip clip and "stress avocado"

Guess what? They are going to send the same awesome package to one of my readers! See the bottom of this post for the giveaway.

Armed with lots of amazing Guacamole, Salsa and Cheese we decided to make traditional tacos for our Taco Tuesday. Tacos are so incredibly easy and cheap to make. We made 2 pounds of meat so that we could have left overs a few times since we had so much Guacamole and Cheese. I used a packaged taco mix to season my meat and we were ready to eat in less than 10 minutes. Part of the fun of Taco Tuesday is making your own tacos and controlling the toppings. We set up a "taco station" across our small kitchen. Here are just a few of the goodies we set out:

sour cream, both Wholly Guacamole Salsas, Wholly Guacamole, 2 different types of Cabot Cheese sliced
We also had shredded lettuce, the taco meat (of course) and some shredded cheese. The Tacos came out delicious. Here are a few shots of my two tacos:

I need to get some of those nifty taco holders so that I can take better pictures of my tacos (and make more than one at a time). I was amazed with just how much I love the guacamole. I have never been a huge guac fan, but it is one of my Husband's favorite condiments. I was actually fighting him over the last of the Wholly Guacamole. It was so good and it really complimented the tacos. We tried both of the salsas with our tacos and I loved them both. I basically ended up putting a little of each on each taco. The hot had a nice spicy flavor to it. I liked the chunks in the roasted tomato salsa. For cheese, we tried the Vermont Sharp and Seriously Sharp from Cabot Cheese. The Vermont Sharp was really light and mild and delicious. I was not a fan of the Seriously Sharp, but I don't care for Sharp Cheddar. My Husband loved both the Seriously Sharp and the Vermont Sharp.

Wholly Guacamole and Cabot Cheese definitely elevated our typical taco night to a new level. These products are so fresh and delicious!

I really can't pick a favorite Cabot product since they are all so good. My favorite Wholly Guac product would have to be the spicy guac.
