Thanks to Daily's and Wholly Guacamole my Husband and Myself had an awesome Pre-Oscars Party this week. We decided to watch two of the movies that are up for nomination: Argo and Wreck-It Ralph. They were both really good and completely different movies. Argo was an intense political thriller that is probably going to win. Ben Affleck was amazing. Wreck-It Ralph was one of the best animated movies I have seen in a long time. It is a "behind the scenes" look at video games and the characters in them. It was really creative and entertaining. I'm surprised that it isn't nominated for more awards. Enough about the movies, onto the refreshments! We were sent a very generous package from Daily's and Wholly Guacamole:
*3 boxes of Wholly Guacamole in various flavors
*3 bowls of Wholly Salsa in various flavors
*$20 Walmart gift card to buy Daily's with
*2 Daily's glasses
*3 Wholly Guacamole stress avocados
*2 bracelets, a pen and a chip clip from Wholly Guacamole
Wow! This awesome package will last us for awhile. They also sent us a really neat "red carpet" to use. I don't have room for it in my tiny apartment, so I am saving it for the house we will be buying soon. For our party we decided to just munch on the Wholly Salsa with chips. I was going to get some guacamole out too, but we decided to use the Wholly Salsa flavor that was mixed with Guac instead.
So delicious! I love that their products are all natural with no added preservatives. They taste much better because of it. We also made some of the Wholly Guacamole Chicken Dip for the second movie. Mine didn't look near as pretty as the Wholly Guacamole picture because I just put it in a bowl instead of a red pepper, I excluded the sugar and we dipped carrots in it. So, here is the much prettier Wholly Guacamole photo:

For drinks we decided to split Daily's Light Strawberry Margarita. It was the only light flavor my Walmart carried. I love how easy these are. I have never had luck with blenders, so I normally only drink frozen drinks while out at restaurants. Daily's makes it easy to have them at home. I also love that they have light flavors since I am watching what I eat/drink right now. The Daily's glasses that they sent us are really nice. They have a unique shape and added a nice flare to our party. I admit that I would have probably used plastic cups if they hadn't sent me these.
I want to Thank Wholly Guacamole and Daily's for helping us to have such an awesome Thrifty and Frugal date night in. We rented the movies from Redbox and then only had to buy lettuce, soft taco shells, beef and seasoning. Talk about a great cheap date!
One lucky reader will win the same products I received except for the red carpet (as pictured above)
