The Container Store Comes to Tampa + Giveaway

Tampa Facebook Fans have voiced their desire for The Container Store to come to our area and their wish has been granted! This Saturday (3/17) the third location in Florida and the first in Tampa will be opening. I was lucky enough to be invited to a special preview tour yesterday with some of the Tampa Bay Bloggers and I was quite impressed.  I admit that I had no idea what to expect. I had never been in The Container Store before and I was quite shocked by the huge size of the building when I pulled up. What I didn't realize was that The Container Store has a lot more than just containers. They have every organizational item you could possibly want plus some. I absolutely adore their elfa modular shelving and drawer systems. They are better viewed than explained. Be prepared to drool a little:

You really have to visit The Container Store and view the elfa products to truly appreciate them. You can use them to organize any room of your house (or even your Husband's garage). The drawers glide out so smoothly and the designs are genius. I really love the shoe organizing shelves and my Husband (who attended with me) has already mentally designed our new Entertainment Center around the elfa in the middle picture above.

The Container store also had a lot of really neat products that I did not know existed. Here is one of my favorites that we got a kick out of:

Yes, a Fridge Locker complete with lock to protect your lunch from hungry bandits! Too funny.

The Container Store also has trash cans, recycling bins, hangers, office organizers, etc. There are over 10,000 multifunctional and innovative products in the store, so you are going to have to check it out for yourself.

Useful Information about The Container Store and Opening Weekend:

*The first 100 people to check-in to The Container Store on Facebook this weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) will receive a $10 gift card
*They will donate 10% of Grand Opening Weekend totals to Junior League Tampa.

The Container Store also treated us with a HUGE Swag Bag:

Inside this Sweater Box:

That is a lot of swag! They gave us something from all 16 lifestyle sections of the store. After sharing a lot of these goodies with my family, I decided to share a few things with you too.

One reader will win a mesh laundry bag, mustache clips, wine tiedings (a reusable wine gift adornment that comes with chalk), pet can covers, a "computer keys" pill box set and sockpro sock holders (they hold your socks together while you wash and dry them).

I am freaking out. I LOVE organizational products and looking at those pictures just made me so excited to go shopping there. If there is one way to my heart it is definitely organization.

I LOVE the container store. I just wish that there was one closer to where I live. The closest one is really far away.
