Sorry this is a little late. It has been a crazy few weeks, but I wanted to still get this posted. I received some awesome products for April!
*$10 a month
*It was started by Michelle Phan (who is a Youtube Beauty Guru)
*Every month you receive a make-up bag with deluxe
samples and full sized products
My April bag:
|I love how photogenic these products are!|
*Sation Nail Lacquer in Of Corset I'll Call You (full size $5)
*MICA Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Earth (2.5gm= $14.95, 2.0gm= $11.96)
*Healthy Sexy Hair Argan Oil Styling Treatment (4.2oz=$21.95, 0.85oz= $4.44)
*Be a Bombshell Blush in Sweet Cheeks (full size $16)
*Ipsy bag (unknown value)
Total Value before Ipsy bag: $37.40
Initial Thoughts: Why is everything pink? I am not a fan of pink typically and it makes me feel like this was designed for a 15 year old. However, after trying the blush I actually love it. It doesn't really go on pink. It is a little sheer and really shimmery. I also really love the mineral eyeshadow. It is a gorgeous neutral shade with a nice shimmer to it. I was excited to get the Argan Oil for my hair product (there were two different possibilities you could get in your bag). I adore Argan Oil. The nail polish...meh. I haven't used it yet and not sure how much I will. It isn't really my color. Maybe I will use it for an ombre nail or a job interview or something boring.

*Hanskin Hydro Sheet Mask ($18 for 5, 1 = $3.60)

*Caudalie Premier CRU ($150 for 1.7oz, 0.06oz= $5.29)
*Jane Train Hair Accessory Sampler ($12 for 8 Bobby Pins, $12 for 6 Clips, 1 Clip & 1 Bobby Pin = $3.5)
*Cotz Face Natural Skin SPF 40 ($20 for 42.5gm, 3gm= $1.41)
Total Value: $22.95
*Initial Thoughts: LOVE! Not only did I get a Sheet Mask (which I have a love/hate relationship with...but still get excited about), but I received a BB Cream! I recently discovered a new favorite BB Cream through my sample boxes and I am wanting to try them all. The more I get, the better. There isn't a single thing in this bag that I don't love and won't use. The Hair Accessories are really cute and I have been wanting to use things like this more often. I'm bored with my "usual" look. Gel Makeup remover sounds blissful and I am curious to try that. I don't know anything about the Caudalie (look at that ridiculous price though!) or the Cotz...but I am excited to try them. Another great box from Sample Society and another month with me being happy I ditched Birchbox for them. Note: I wrote the above before my price breakdown. I was a little surprised to find out it was only worth $23. Still, it is worth it to me. I will use all of these products.
This Month's Winner: Would you think I was lame if I said "Me"? Probably. I would have to say Sample Society. Although I loved both boxes and was thrilled with them both, I am not a fan of the nail polish from Ipsy. I love everything from Sample Society. They were both well worth the money in my opinion. Now that I finally have this posted I am going to start using them like crazy. :)
