This month Goodies made a lot of people mad. They decided to send out different boxes to different people instead of doing the same boxes across the board like they normally do. They also included a $50 Wine gift card (which was not a real gift card since you have to pay $10 shipping and spend at least $51 to use it) and shipped it to states where it is illegal to ship wine. My Mother lives in one of these states. She picked out her wine and spent over an hour on the website and was all excited to get a good deal on wine just to find out that she can't even use it. She was pretty crushed. Poor move Goodies. Overall, I was still pleased with my box. Here is what I received:

this baby was hiding under the filling in the box

*Green Giant - Sweet Potato Multigrain Chips
*Lady Walton's - White Chocolate Amaretto Cookies
*Angie's Popcorn - Sweet & Salty Kettlecorn
*Wai Lana - Herb & Garlic Chips
*Zone Perfect - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar
*Yellow Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix
*$50 Wine Discount Card

Normally I include a discription for you of everything, but my description card just said to visit website for details on my package. The website is missing some of the products I received, so I am not going to list half of the descriptions. Most of it is self explanatory.

I still think that this box is well worth the $7. We already ate everything except for the Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix (it's like half a box of macaroni and cheese....who on earth would want or buy that?) We also are not using the wine card, so if someone wants that let me know. You can get a good deal on wine with it, but it isn't for us at this time.

The Green Giant Sweet Potato Chips were SO good. They are also healthier for you than regular chips. Hubby loved the Kettlecorn and I devoured the Amaretto Wafer cookie on a cheat day....blissful. The Amaretto flavor is so strong and satisfying. My other favorite was the Zone bar. I had to eat it in three separate days because it was too sugary for my diet (and my resulting dulled down taste buds). It is cookie dough flavored and tastes like a delicious dessert and fills you up. Yum. The Wai Lana chips had a nice crunch and were well seasoned.

I REALLY LIKED this box! The wafer cookie was the greatest tasting thing ever! I sssssoooooo want to buy more of those! The popcorn was super yummy too. And the chips were better than I thought they'd be. Luckily for me, the wine card was allowable in my state but I checked before I even started looking around the site since I'd heard of other subscriber's problems. I thought the GC saved me money (not a lot mind you) but the delivery is fast and will know by tomorrow how the wines taste since they're delivering in a timeframe of three days, which is super fast.

Overall, way better box than last month imho.

I didn't know cassava chips existed. Something I could actually eat. Thanks.

I was able to get in to Goodies, so I should be getting the May box. Looking forward to seeing what's inside.

Also - thank YOU for sharing your monthly posts. You are how I heard about Goodies!
