Brooklyn Bean Coffee Review + Giveaway

*Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

I used to be more of a tea drinker than a coffee drinker. That all changed when a Keurig came into my life. Now I drink both regularly. I have a few favorite teas, but when it comes to coffee I like variety. My favorites are typically flavored coffees (like vanilla, pumpkin or blueberry), but I am pretty adventurous and will try just about any coffee. When I was offered the chance to review a 40 count variety pack of coffee from Brooklyn Bean I excitedly excepted the offer. I had never heard of Brooklyn Bean before this, but I was happy to try them.

When my box arrived I was very pleasantly surprised. They weren't kidding when they called this a variety pack! I had 16 different coffees in my 40 count box. 16! The flavors included were: Cyclone, Maple Sleigh, Breakfast Blend, Cinnamon Subway, Hazelnut, Colombian, Breakfast Blend Decaf, Boardwalk Blend, Oh Fudge!, Vanilla Skyline, Corner Donut Shop, Coney Island Caramel, Brooklyn Bridge Blend, French Roast, Express-O and Fuhgeddaboutit.

note: the Kcups in sky blue at the top right are actually two different flavors
As you can see I received three count of eight of the flavors and two count on the other eight flavors. I love this variety! If you end up not liking a flavor then you only have one or two K-Cups left of that flavor. You don't have to waste a whole box. If you do find a favorite coffee, then you can order a box of just that coffee from Brooklyn Bean on Amazon. You can also order more specific variety packs such as Medium, Bold, Breakfast and Flavored.

I love how Brooklyn Bean has really creative names for their coffee that are related to their brand. From Fuhgeddaboutit (pronounced in my head in a slow drawn out New Yorker accent) to Cinnamon Subway to Coney Island Caramel; most of the names scream Brooklyn. They also have really cool black and white photos on each cup. Cyclone has a picture of it's namesake: a Coney Island roller coaster. Maple Sleigh has a stack of pancakes (presumably maple) on an old fashioned sleigh. I bet you can't guess what the Brooklyn Bridge Blend has pictured on it's K-Cup?

Obviously the owners of Brooklyn Bean Coffee are highly creative. The big question is: how does the coffee taste? This coffee is very good. It has a nice robust flavor to it without any bitterness. I have been trying as many of the flavors as I could before doing this review and I also had my Husband to help out with the darker flavors. We have yet to find a flavor that we didn't like. My favorites are of course the flavored varieties: Vanilla Skyline, Cinnamon Subway and Coney Island Caramel. Hubby loves the Cyclone, Express-O and French Roast.

I will definitely be buying Brooklyn Bean K-Cups again in the future. If you are new to the K-Cup scene then this variety box would be a great way to start off your new morning routine. If you are a K-Cup veteran and looking for something different, this would be a great box for you as well. I definitely recommend trying Brooklyn Bean coffee.
