Elite Gold Solutions Organic Tart Cherry Juice #tartcherryjuice

I am under a lot of pressure and stress right now. I haven’t shared this on my blog, but I am back in school. In addition to working full time, going to school almost full time and running this blog; I also have two very sick parents that are halfway across the country. Needless to say, there are many nights where I lay awake thinking instead of sleeping. I have tried Melatonin in the past and it has always worked for me. When I heard about Elite Gold Solution’s Sleepytime, I knew that I wanted to try it.

Sleepytime comes in an organic tart cherry concentrated solution. It is USDA organic, vegetarian, fat free, Gluten free and the bottle is BPA free. It also states no sugar, but then it has listed 14gm of sugar for 1 tablespoon on the bottle. Maybe they mean no added sugar? That is my one complaint about this product: it has rather high (for my diet at least) carbs and sugar.

Sleepytime has all of the benefits of tart cherries which are supposed to have the following health benefits:

*Sleep Aid (best natural source of Melatonin)
*Pain Relief (helps block enzymes that cause pain)
*May support heart health and blood circulation
*Neutralizes harmful oxidants in the body

One serving of this concentrate is equal to 80 cherries!

So, how does it taste? It is super strong and super tart. That is why it is recommended to mix it with water, seltzer, juice or any type of beverage. You can also use it in smoothies, on fruit cocktail, in yogurt, on ice cream or pastries, etc.

I swallowed a tablespoonful my first time trying the syrup. While it was tart and I did make a face, it wasn’t too bad. My favorite way to drink it is by tossing it in my mixed drinks. I normally drink water with Crystal Light  liquid tropical coconut and a shot of coconut vodka. I added the tart cherry to this combination and it was really good. Still a little tart, but delicious. I also like it with Diet Coke. I really want to try it on ice cream too, but I have been avoiding that particular dessert.

You are supposed to take the Sleepytime 2-3 hours before bed. I have been taking it 1-2 hours before bed on nights where I feel like I need it. It has definitely worked for me! I always read before bed and on the nights I take Sleepytime I fall asleep reading right after getting into bed. I wake up feeling well rested and refreshed. I have also been waking up without feeling stiff or sore.

I would definitely recommend giving this product a try to see if it works for you too. Since Amazon is currently out of the product, you may want to buy it directly from the Elite Gold Solutions website.

*Disclaimer: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
