Soap.Club - Monthly Soap Subscription #soapdotclub

**I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.**

Handmade soap is one thing that I absolutely have to have in my shower. I do use body wash also and a brand name manufactured bar of soap CAN be used in a pinch. However, I am not happy unless I have some form of handmade soap. Did you know that you could sign up to have handmade soap delivered to your door every single month? Neither did I until I discovered Soap.Club. This is how it works:

There are four different plans in which you receive 2-5 bars of soap per month. You can choose your favorite scents from a very long list that includes scents like Lemon Verbena Lift, Cinnamon Pearberry Fruit, Rosemary and Thyme Herbal Heaven, Goat’s Milk Citrus Twist, Pomegranate Cherry Crimson Crush, Vanilla Cookie Dough Natural, Pumpkin Pie and so much more. If you pick the scents, then they will randomly choose from those you selected. If you are feeling adventurous, you can let Soap.Club pick the scents for you and receive random bars of soap. So much fun.

I was actually scent a very traditional and yet well loved bar of soap: Dead Sea Mud. To be completely honest, I was a little disappointed when I received Dead Sea Mud. I was hoping I was going to get to pick and I would have gone with Lemon Verbena Lift which is my go-to for soap and my favorite scent. I love Dead Sea Mud masks and scrubs. I have found the soap lacking in the previous bars that I have tried. Luckily, all of this vanished when I actually tried the soap.

This soap is amazing. It lathers really easily and is extremely hydrating on my skin. I have even been using it to shave. If you have ever used a Dead Sea Mud soap, then you know that it lathers into a gray to blackish color on your skin. Well, this makes it super easy to shave. Unlike the previous Dead Sea Mud bars that I had used, this one did not leave black spots in my shower. Yay! The soap contains olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil, hemp oil, organic shea butter, water and a fragrance blend. That's it. No funky hard to pronounce ingredients. It is 100% natural. The oils and shea butter are also what makes it so hydrating.

Can we talk about the shape of the soap for a moment? When it arrived I thought that the shape was weird. It was a large 3"x3"x1" square. Huh? Then I used it and I understood. Now I want all my soap to be square. It fits perfectly in my palm and allows me to have a better grip on the soap than the traditional rectangular bars.

This bar of soap also smells great. It has a light, natural fragrance that is hard to put your finger on. It is pleasant and smells very clean. The soap is made by cold process which allows the oils and fragrances to shine through.

I was pleasantly surprised with Soap.Club. This is definitely a subscription service that I could see myself signing up for. A subscription also comes with other benefits such as discounts, free shipping on most plans, exclusive access to limited edition soap and more.
